Growing up in Tainan, Taiwan’s oldest city, our founder Alice was immersed in a world where tradition, culture, and nature thrived. She spent her childhood visiting family in the countryside, where lush landscapes remained untouched by modernization.

One of Alice’s fondest memories is playing with her cousins in the golden wheat fields, followed by her grandmother’s gentle touch—cleansing their hands and feet with handmade soaps crafted from natural soapberries picked straight from the trees in their yard. She was captivated by the gentle, nourishing feel of the soap, the smoothness it left on her skin, and most of all, the purity of its natural ingredients.
